Im new at photography, and im ordering some lenses..i really want this one -
http://www.amazon.com/Wide-Angle-72mm-Telephoto-FILTER/dp/B00350BTB6
but it doesnt ship to my country, is it the same as this one-
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/72mm-0-43x-WIDE-Angle-Macro-Conversion-LENS-72-mm-0-43-/260535149828?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item3ca91ae504#ht_3364wt_911
Exactly the same or slightly different?
the second one says wide angle + telephoto..
but the first one says wide angle macro
IS it the same? or is the 2nd one missing a lens?
Up till now I have been using my D80 for wildlife photography and the occasional mountain expedition, and using my Panasonic for tourism because it has a wide enough angle to capture large monuments. I want to start using my DSLR for tourism though, but I need to get a proper wide angle lens. Will I get the same wide angle on an 18-55mm lens as on the Panasonic?
If it helps, the Panasonic’s wide aspect 35mm equivalent is 28mm.
Could someone tell me how to fix an old camera lens?
I got an Asanuma 35mm-105mm lens from my grandpa. The lens can focus, but the zoom is stuck at 35mm and won’t budge. I think there is rust or dry gunk of some sort that is jamming the zoom and I don’t know what would be best to get it out. Please help me, I would really like to make good use of this lens without having to take it to a repair shop.
Adrian’s Photography These Photos are taken using Canon 60D. I don’t own the music I used. The Title is “That Girl” by David Choi ( www.youtube.com ) Some of the pictures are taken in San Francisco Zoo
Nikon D300S making-of movie and interview with outdoor/ sports photographer Robert Bösch.
I would like to buy a very wide angle lenses for Nikon D3000 camera. Any suggestions are very much appreciated. Many Thanks!
I’m venturing into macro photography and looking to buy a suitable lens.
I’ve seen photos of insects that are extremely close up such that you are able to see its every strand of hair and eyes etc and they were taken with macro lenses of 100 mm focal length.
The problem is macro lenses are too expensive for me. Instead, can canon close up lens or vitacon wide angle+macro lens of lesser focal length such as 50 mm take such a huge close up of the insect too? Let’s say the insect won’t be scared away easily.
I’m aware the photo quality won’t be the same but as long as it can get the huge close up. I’m wondering is it they use macro lens plus a close up lens to achieve the really close up result.
Also, which is more recommendable? Canon close up lens or Vitacon WA+macro lens?
I’m using Canon 500D.
Just a quick Q, I brought my small compact camera in (Sony CyberShot) from outside to photograph the snow and shadows but when I brought it in, I thought that the lens might fog up so I put it in my porch, which I thought might help the transition. Right now, the lens is fogged up. Its only a small amount so there shouldn’t be damage. What should I do now, and what can I do next time to prevent it from fogging up? Thanks in advance!
This is a simple and effective lesson on what a metering mode is, how it operates, and how you can use it as a beginning photographer. The video details the Canon 40D’s metering modes, but is applicable to most digital cameras. The full DVD (3 hours of training) can be ordered from: www.michaelthementor.com If you are trying to learn your canon 40 d, it is a must have!
