Jeremy, Thank you so much for stepping out with this idea. For a long time my motto has been “EVERYONE DESERVES good pictures of their kids/parents/families.” Which is why I figured out a long time ago that I’m probably not in this to make money. I can’t resist taking pictures for people who truly can’t afford them… and what a great way to bring people together! Thanks again. I’ll do what I can!

Brilliant idea Jeremy, I just joined the group which is currently organising the event in Galati, Romania. I just wanted to thank you for this wonderful idea. We photographers are browsing all over the place to take shots of various things, trees, musrooms, etc but THIS can bring a smile on an orphan’s face and it’s… just HUGE..
    Thank you again :)

    Charleston, SC
I attended as a bit of a skeptic and came away a supporter. Not a photographer myself, I never would have guessed that in an age of Instamatic cameras and throw away digital cameras that so many (400-500 ) people would stand in line in 40 degree winds to have a stranger take their picture and get it printed out to take home.
Some families and groups of neighbors said that they had never had a group picture of their own. It was a simple but moving experience. Thank all of you!

Why is it that people these days can’t simply do nice things and leave it at that. Why is it that we have to make annoucements to let the world know how nice we are. If we do something nice and no one knows about it then why bother, right? This is what this is… simply calling attention to yourself so people can tell you what a great person you are. You’re so nice.
