What wide angle lens should I get for Canon 7D?

        December 23rd, 2010

Hello, and thank you for reading and trying to help me out. I’m currently looking for an wide angle lens and debating between a couple. I currently have a 50mm, and the standard kit lens that the Canon 7D comes with. And i’m looking for a decent rage, and a good wide angle lens that’ll be good for the more "Artistic" shots. This lens will be mostly for wedding photography, "Videography and photography" so I dont want to much of distortion, but at the same time, a noticable one. espically for standard photography shots vrs Videography shots. And this is what i’ve had in mind and is within’ my budget. (Any other lens ideas will be amazing too)

        Sigma 10 – 20mm
        Sigma 12 – 24mm
        Tokina 11 -16mm
        Tokina 12 – 24mm
        Tamron 12 – 24mm
        Tamron 10 – 20mm

How much impact will a 1.6x crop factor have on my photography?

        December 19th, 2010

I am planning to buy a dSLR camera soon, the Rebel XSi and because it has a APS-C sensor, there will be a crop factor of 1.6x when I use an EF lens for it. I am told to invest in EF lenses but I am worried if the crop factor will have a large impact on it. What if I wanted a wide angle lens? How much will the crop factor impact the ability of this wide-angle lens?

Remove dirt from the back of a camera lens?

        December 17th, 2010

I have a fairly new Sony pocket digital camera. While getting off a plane the sudden change in temperature (and pressure perhaps) created condensation on the back of the non-removable lens and left an annoying smear which became ever present on my pictures. Does anyone know a trick to get rid of it without having to send it to the shop for repairs?
